There is evidence to suggest that children with autism benefit from ABA, Speech and Language, and Occupational Therapy. As such, the clinical team at Think Tank Therapy has developed a one-of-a-kind collaborative therapy program. This program streamlines the goals set by our ABA therapists, Occupational Therapist (OT), and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), to create an innovative and holistic approach to therapy. Our team developed a collaborative program in which students are assessed using our own evaluation system that incorporates ABA, OT, and SLP specialties, while also considering developmental norms and trajectories. Children enrolled in this program will receive at least 7 hours of group-based ABA, 1 hour of group-based OT, and 1 hour of group-based SLP therapy as part of their base program (a total of at least 9 hours in the centre per week). This program will provide children with integrated goals that are targeted collaboratively between all three clinical specialties and comprehensive treatment plans to ensure you receive the most holistic services for your child.
Donation of Services
We understand that therapy services can be extraordinarily expensive. At Think Tank Therapy, we know that families strive to provide services based on a child's need first and foremost, but often times finances can act as a barrier to obtaining therapeutic services. Think Tank Therapy does our very best to minimize the costs of therapy, while still maintaining high quality services. We know, however, that for some families, therapy is still difficult to afford.
Think Tank Therapy is thrilled to donate a spot in our collaborative program (described above) to 3 children, every 12 weeks (12 children per year) AT NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE to the family. To apply for donated services, please click the application button below. The application form for the Fall and Winter terms will be available as of June 1. Application forms will be reviewed in August and March every year to ensure currency.
All applications submitted will be reviewed by the Think Tank Therapy clinical team. Successful applicants will be selected based on demonstrated need, as well as clinical need. Additionally, children will be selected based on current spot availability, (given their developmental age and stage) as one spot for each cohort in the centre will be made available.
You will ONLY be contacted if your application is selected. Application is not a contract. Selected families will still need to review and sign Think Tank Therapy Service Contracts and Policy Handbook before child will be admitted into the program.
